Tour Itinerary:
Our Guide will meet you at your
hotel in the morning. Tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall.
After lunch, visit the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden
City. Transfer back to your hotel.
Mutianyu
Great Wall: Located in Huairou County 70km northeast
of Beijing, Mutianyu section of Great Wall is connected
with Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Gateway
in the east. As one of the best-preserved parts of the
Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve
as the northern barrier defending the capital and the
imperial tombs. First built in the mid-6th during the
Northern Qi dynasty, Mutianyu Great Wall is older than
Badaling Great Wall.
Tiananmen
Square: Tian'anmen was the front gate of the Imperial
Palace during the Ming and
Qing dynasties. In front of the gate is the world's
largest open ground in the city - the Tian'anmen Square.
Forbidden
City: Used to be the imperial palace of the Ming
(1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties. It is
called the Palace Museum now.
