Beijing Wanlong Ski Resort

Wanlong is located at the area of HongHuaLiang ,ChongLi county, ZhangJiaKou , HeBei province. Wanlong ski resort is the first open ski resort in China, it covers an area of 48 square kilometer, the highest spot in Wanlong is 2110.3 metres in altitude with falldrop 550 meters., the perpendicular throw is 550 meters. The distance between Wanlong ski resort and Beijing city is 249 km, and ZhangJiaKou city is 60 km.
The First stage of Wanlong build 21 trails, covering over 6,4000 square meters. Additionally, ski resort provides 2 2-person chairlifts which can carry 1950 people per hour, and also 2 4-person chairlifts which can carry 3100 people per hour. There is one special Magic carpet for beginners, the new design and more carefulness brings new skiers less fear. The huge man-made snow system is covering every snow trail, with nature snow. Wanlong ski resort is the one which opens earliest
in China and the snow last the longest in China and the quality of snow is the best in China.

Wanlong ski resort equip with several snowmaker¡¢grooming machine¡¢snow motorcycle, they ensure that Wanlong ski resort operating smoothly during opening time. There is brand new SALOMON ski-board and snow-board equipment and clothes are for rent in the main building. What' more, Wanlong provides the newest electronic toll collection system and the restaurant which covers 1400 square meters (and )has very beautiful view, customers will enjoy the convenience and the comfort in Wanlong.

In 2005, Wanlong invest a new invent, Shuang Long Hotel(build with the standard of 4 star hotel), it set with 101 rooms and Chinese restaurant and Dinning room and caf¨¦ and business center and conference room and other service. In the same year, Wanlong build a wood-made house, which the wood is import from Finland. It covers over 200 square meters, locate at the top of the mountain which named Hong Hua Liang, the wood-made house brings more space for more service to the customers.

As an international standard ski resort, Wanlong's quality and dimension receive acceptance from society, some of our trails have been certificated by FIS. Wanlong ski resort has successfully hold the ¡° Chong Li county international ski festival ¡± from 2003 to 2006. in 2004/05 snow season, Wanlong ski resort hold ¡°Wanlong SALOMON international friendship ski competition¡± and ¡°lenovo China ski competition¡± and so on.in 2005/06 and 2006/07 snow season, Wanlong ski resort hold ¡° 2005 and 2006 FIS Alpine Skiing SALOMON competition(stop 4)¡±, ¡°First and Second MELLOW Wanlong snowboard competition¡±, ¡°XueZhongFei China public ski competition¡±, and ¡° First ¨C Forth Wanlong SALOMON cup competition¡± and so on.
