07:20 - 08:30 Our Guide will pick
you up from your hotel . Drive to visit the Mutianyu Great
Wall. After lunch, visit the Underground Palace of Ming Tombs.
Return to the downtown Beijing for an exterior visit of both
the National Stadium - " Bird Nest " and National
Aquatics Center - " Water Cube ". Transfer back
to your hotel at about 18:00 depending on traffic. (Lunch)
Mutianyu
Great Wall: Located in Huairou County 70km northeast of
Beijing, Mutianyu section of Great Wall is connected with
Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Gateway in the east.
As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu
section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier
defending the capital and the imperial tombs. First built
in the mid-6th during the Northern Qi dynasty, Mutianyu Great
Wall is older than Badaling Great Wall.
Underground
Palace Of Dingling Ming Tombs: The best-preserved Chinese
imperial tombs with 500 years history. Dingling is the underground
mausoleum of Emperor Wan Li. The Underground Palace Halls,
a labyrinth palace building, were the first royal tomb excavated
in accordance with plan in China.
