A spacious walkway for sightseeing runs atop a 771-metre long retaining wall on the Bund, paved with colorful tiles and dotted with flower beds and lighting. It is a good place for a leisurely stroll and a view of the Huangpu River. The Bund is very impressive at night, as the floodlights of the grand buildings on the Bund are shining together, making the buildings look like huge crystal palaces.

The garden centres on a pond surrounded by buildings, including a Pavilion for the Advent of the Moon and Wind and a Ribbon-Washing Pavilion. It is one of the four Suzhou gardens listed by Unesco.
Tongli water town: With a history of more than 1000 years, the beautiful and tranquil water town is featured by architecture in style of Ming and Qing Dynasties, flowing waters and unique bridges. Tongli lies 18 kilometers north to Suzhou, it is an ideal place for relaxing. The town is separated into 7 islands by 15 rivers and 49 bridges integrate the islands together.
